Hiring : Commodity Trader

Key Responsibilities

Execute commodity trades across physical and derivative markets, including futures, options, and forwards, based on approved trading strategies
Monitor real-time market movements, price trends, supply–demand dynamics, volume, and liquidity across commodity exchanges
Analyze technical indicators, charts, and fundamental market data to identify profitable trading opportunities
Manage trading risk through effective position sizing, stop-loss strategies, and capital allocation
Track portfolio performance, profit & loss (P&L), and exposure across commodity assets
Stay updated on global economic indicators, geopolitical developments, weather patterns, and regulatory changes impacting commodity markets
Maintain accurate trade logs, reports, and performance summaries
Ensure adherence to company trading policies, risk limits, and regulatory compliance requirements
Coordinate with risk management, compliance, and operations teams to support smooth trading activities
Provide regular market insights, trade rationale, and performance reports to management

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Agriculture, or a related field (professional trading certifications are a plus)
Proven experience in commodity trading, financial markets, or related trading roles
Strong understanding of commodity markets, supply chains, and price drivers (energy, metals, agriculture, etc.)
Proficiency in trading platforms, market data systems, and technical analysis tools
Solid knowledge of risk management, hedging strategies, leverage, and portfolio diversification
Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
High level of discipline, attention to detail, and ability to perform under market pressure
Strong communication skills and experience working in fast-paced trading environments
